"The song is about getting over a toxic relationship. From my own personal experience, there was a time where I was stuck in a relationship that I knew was bad for me. Every time I tried to step away, I was always easily convinced to stay. Then one day I finally had enough and stepped away for good. So we wanted the song to reflect something similar by conveying this feeling of assertiveness and uncertainty musically and lyrically."
